Fellow Human Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to Fellow Human on Android today and on any future iPhone or iPad version that uses the same shared service and product flow, unless a platform-specific note says otherwise.

These Terms of Use set out the conditions governing access to and use of Fellow Human, including the nature of the service, acceptable use requirements, and the scope of the current and future mobile-platform rollout.

License and permitted use

Fellow Human grants a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial conversational use on devices you control, subject to these terms and any relevant app-store rules or platform requirements.

  • You may chat with AI companions by text or optional voice input.
  • You may choose companion personalities and language preferences for personal use.
  • You may use the app without creating an account.

Important product boundaries

  • Fellow Human is an AI companion app, not a human therapist, doctor, lawyer, or emergency service.
  • AI-generated replies may be incomplete, wrong, overly broad, or unsuitable for your specific situation.
  • The app should not be used as a substitute for professional mental health care, crisis intervention, or medical advice.
  • If you are in immediate danger or crisis, contact local emergency services or the crisis resources listed on the Support page.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the app to generate, request, or distribute harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
  • Do not use the app to impersonate another person in a way that violates law or platform policy.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, overload, scrape, or otherwise misuse the backend or supporting infrastructure.
  • Do not use the app to handle emergency, crisis, or safety-critical decisions.
  • Use the in-app report or feedback controls if an AI reply appears offensive, unsafe, inappropriate, or materially poor quality.

AI processing and privacy

By starting a chat, you understand that the text you type and any optional voice transcript may be processed by third-party AI or speech services as described in the Privacy Policy.

Fellow Human does not require an account and does not keep persistent chat history after you leave a conversation, but temporary live session memory is used while a conversation is active so replies can remain coherent.

Platform scope and product changes

The product may change over time. Features, supported languages, supported devices, AI providers, and availability may be updated, suspended, or removed where permitted by law and platform policy.

Android is the current live platform. iPhone and iPad support may be added later using the same shared product core, together with any platform-specific native components required for that release.

Future subscriptions, ads, or paid features

Fellow Human may introduce subscriptions, rewarded advertisements, or other paid features in future versions. If that occurs, pricing, renewal terms, restore-purchase details, and any platform-specific billing terms will be disclosed clearly in the relevant application and store listing before purchase.

Availability and disclaimers

Fellow Human is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular use case.

Access may be limited, suspended, or terminated if these terms are violated or if continued operation would create legal, safety, abuse, or platform-risk issues.
